First Trip To Nationals & Long Island University Makes Finals
Long Island University took the stage for the first time in school history at the UCA & UDA College Cheerleading and Dance Team National Championship.
It’s a big weekend for the Sharks from Long Island University as they take the stage for the very first time at the UCA & UDA College Cheerleading and Dance Team National Championship.
Long Island University brought both their cheerleading and dance teams to Orlando and the teams are making history. LIU's cheerleading team competed in the Open All Girl Game Day division and the Sharks advanced to Finals!
"I am so proud of them," shared Head Coach, Skylar Byram. "They went out there, composed themselves, had a lot of energy, worked as a team, and did everything they needed to do. They had some nerves but they did very well for their first time and they worked together as one. I'm really proud of how they represented our university!"
