So what do you really know about one of the most prestigious all star championships in the world? Varsity.TV has the exclusive inside scoop on the 2016 UCA International All Star Championship, which will be streamed LIVE on Varsity.TV on March 12-13. Here’s what you need to know to get excited:
There are over 600 teams competing, making this one of UCA’s biggest Championships ever AND one of the top three largest all star events in the U.S.
It’s a Varsity All Star Triple Crown Championship event. Win a championship jacket at CHEERSPORT, NCA and UCA’s Championships, and you’ll be crowned with the ultimate honor of Triple Crown Champion!
11,000 athletes will take the stage. With this many talented athletes, you can bet teams will be upping the ante to stand out among the crowds.
13 countries will be represented. Including the U.S., of course!
The Championship is over 20 years old! 1993 marked the first year of the All Star division at a UCA Championship and within three years, the UCA National All Star Championship was born. Today’s International All Star Championship brings athletes together from across the globe to compete at the Walt Disney World ® Resort.
Getting biddy with it. Do well at UCA and teams can earn a bid to The Summit, D2 Summit or the Cheerleading Worlds! The official bid announcements for The Summit and The D2 Summit will take place on Monday, March 14.
Your castle awaits.
