What To Know About The DCU Center
In 2024, The U.S. Finals: Worcester heads to the DCU Center in Worcester, Massachusetts, where warming temperatures should give visitors the chance for an unforgettable weekend in the Northeast, along with the exciting competition, of course.
The storied history of the DCU Center began in 1982 with a memorable performance by Frank Sinatra, and it has been a destination for performers and events since. Among the regulars are Disney on Ice, monster trucks, the Harlem Globetrotters, NCAA hockey and basketball, high school sports, and more.
The property features more than 100,000 square feet of exhibit space, 11 meeting rooms, a ballroom, in-house catering, and the flexibility to host a variety of events. A highlight of the convention center is a panoramic view of downtown Worcester.
Since 2006, the DCU Center has been home to professional hockey. First were the Worcester Sharks of the American Hockey League (2006-2015) and then the ECHL’s Worcester Railers Hockey Club (founded in 2016). Should the Railers make the 2024 playoffs, there might be a chance to catch a game or two during the U.S. Finals.
