The U.S. Finals: Des Moines, being held at the Richard O. Jacobson Exhibition Center in Des Moines, Iowa, is part of a 13-event end-of-season extravaganza that allows teams to finish their seasons close to home and with another memorable experience together. 

This is one of four events scheduled for April 13. The others will be in Pensacola, Florida; Chicago; and Myrtle Beach, South Carolina.

The first four events are set for Galveston, Texas; Tacoma, Washington; Las Vegas; and Buffalo, New York; on April 6. Three events will take place on April 20 – Colorado Springs, Colorado; Ocean City, Maryland; and Worcester, Massachusetts. The action will shift to Louisville, Kentucky, on April 27 and Virginia Beach, Virginia, on May 4.

By breaking up the U.S. Finals into multiple one-day events across many locations, teams have the ability to choose the date and location that work best for them.

Competitors have earned their way to the U.S. Finals through their performances and success at other events, so this is the ultimate way to end the season.

What To Know About The Jacobson Exhibition Center

In 2024, The U.S. Finals: Des Moines heads to the Richard O. Jacobson Exhibition Center in Des Moines, Iowa, a property that opened in August 2010 and has become synonymous with the Iowa State Fair. It replaced the West Arena, which previously stood in the same location.

The multi-purpose facility has been used for livestock shows, concerts, sporting events, entertainment, and many activities related to the state fair. Iowa businessman Richard O. Jacobson provided the first $3.5 million for the $20 million project.

Approximately 3,500 spectators can sit around the 32,000-square-foot arena floor. There’s also a warm-up arena and a second warm-up arena with a livestock fence.
