The Game Day Live division was introduced to the UCA National High School Cheerleading Championship back in 2020. Inspired by the sights and sounds of a school’s Friday night football game, this exciting division takes the current Game Day Competition format – Band Chant, Situational Sideline, Crowd Leading, and Fight Song – to the next level with LIVE MUSIC from a school's pep band.

After a spirited and crowd-engaging Finals performance, Independence High School is taking home their third-straight Varsity Game Day Live title at the 2023 UCA National High School Cheerleading Championship! Greendale High School took second place followed by Center Hill High School in third.
